이번 4월 한달 동안 진행되었던 지정헌금 총 액수는 $ 696,723 입니다. 귀히 섬겨 주신 모든 성도님들께 감사 드립니다. 4월말까지 교회 성전 구입을 위한 총 지정헌금 액수는 $ 1,521.205.00 입니다. During our April designated offering month, we have received total of $ 696,723. We are truly thankful for all your commitment. As of the end of April, a total fund designated for the building purchase is $ 1,521,205.00

현재 APC와는 month-to-month 리스를 하고 있습니다. APC는 8월초부터 새로운 입주자를 예상하며, 이에 따른 준비를 하고 있습니다. CUC는 2023년 8월말까지 리스가 가능하지만, 그 이후에는 새로 이사올 교회의 renovation 스케쥴에 따라 계약여부가 결정될 것 같습니다.
Currently, our lease contract with APC is month-to-month. APC is anticipating new tenant starting August, at which time we need to form a new lease terms. With CUC, our lease will continue to the end of August 2023, at which time, the new owner of the building will consider lease negotiation based on their renovation schedule.

건물 입당을 위한 여러가지 준비가 되어야 하기에 지금 예정일을 말씀드리는 것이 이른점을 이해해 주시기 바랍니다. 일단 city에서 [사용용도] 변경 신청과 은행 융자가 승인된 후, 건물주와 purchase contract이 맺어진 후에 좀더 정확한 일정이 잡힐 수 있습니다.
It is too early to estimate a day of move-in at this stage. We still need to submit an application for the change of building usage, get an approval for the loan, and finalize the purchase contract with the owner. When these requirements are met, then we can better estimate our move-in date.

하나님께서 저희 가스펠미션교회 허락하신 건물을 통해 크게 3가지 사역이 이루어짐을 위해 기도 합니다.
(1) 선교적 사명 (- 방문하시는 선교사님 공간 활용, - 여러 지역 다민족 교회가 함께 사용할 수 있는 예배공간, - 선교적 훈련),
(2) 교육적 사명(주중 어린이 방과후 학교및 주말 프로그램을 개발하여, 다음 세대의 영혼육을 훈련시켜 나아가는 사역, Home Schooling 단체와 협력사역) 과
(3) 영성적 사명 (말씀과 기도로 무장되어 하나님의 선한 일꾼으로 쓰임받는 가스펠미션 전교인 양육) 입니다.
We are envisioning three areas of ministries as we entrust God’s gift for His church:
(1) missional center by providing (- an usual space for visiting missionaries, - space to other ethnic churches to worship, - mission trainings),
(2) educational center by providing (- Early Christian education for nursery and pre-school children, - space for Christian home schooling organizations, - space for weekday and weekend after-school programs), and
(3) spiritual formation (of our Gospel Mission members, worship & equipping of the saints with His Word & Prayer).

건물은 총 4층으로 되어 있습니다. 좀더 구체적인 내용은 계속 검토되고 있습니다. There are a total of four floors. Plans for space usage are not final; outlined below are tentative plans.

1층 floor - 본당, 찬양대, 찬양팀 연습실, 주방과 식당, 사무실 / main sanctuary, choir and praise team practice rooms, cafeteria with kitchen, main and staff office

2층 floor - 어린이 주일학교 예배실 및 교실, 유치원 및 유아 care를 위한 시설, indoor 놀이터 및 activity center, Cafe and Resting area for parents/children’s Sunday School worship spaces and classrooms, children’s activity center, nursery & pre-school along with other spaces available for diverse activities as Lord leads

3층 floor - 중고등부 YoungLife & 영어회중 Harvest Fellowship 예배실 및 소그룹 classrooms/youth and English Ministry worship space and classrooms

4층 floor - 미배정 unassigned. 앞으로 계획하고 있는 내용은 방문하시는 선교사님 활용할 수 있는 공간 및 선교 관련된 훈련을 제공할 수 있는 장소 및 지역 미자립 다민족 교회를 위한 예배 공간으로 활용하려 합니다
Future plans includes mission center & a usual space for visiting missionaries, offer spaces for other ethnic churches to worship

새벽예배를 위한 소성전 및 소규모 예배를 위한 공간은 차후 지정될 예정입니다. 소그룹 및 셀예배 모임을 위한 여러 다양한 공간이 2층4층에 준비될 예정입니다.
EMP worship space as well as small chapels and classrooms for small group gatherings and cell worship will be provided in various rooms located in our 2nd~4th floors.

저희들이 속해 있는 Township of Fairfield뿐만 아니라, 다른 지역과 협력하여 하나님 나라를 세워가기 소원합니다. 하나님 말씀의 본질에 합당한 사용을 위해 교회 공간은 늘 오픈될 예정입니다.
We plan to open our spaces for the usages of communities (Township of Fairfield and beyond) as we pursue His Kingdom-purpose. As long as the intent for usage is consistent with the core values of Scripture, we are hoping to work together with our communities.

미래 Gospel Mission Church로 고려되고 있는 건물 위치가 현 베다니교회와 거리상 가깝다는 사실을 우려하시는 분들이 계신 줄 압니다. 이 부분은 교회 리더십도 충분히 공감하며, 이것에 대한 결정을 내림이 절대 쉽지 않았습니다. 계속해서 하나님의 회복과 치유를 위해 기도 합니다. 이 중요한 결정을 내림에 있어 몇가지 신중하게 고려된 내용은 (1) 저희 Gospel Mission 교회가 현재 위치하고 있는 Paramus보다 Fairfield가 더 “중심적 위치”에 놓여져 있어, 성도님들의 교통편이 좀더 수월하다는 점과 (2) 앞으로 어린 자녀들이 안전하게 생활할 수 있는 쾌척한 공간이 될 것이라는 이 두가지 점을 결정하는데 중요한 요소로 삼았습니다. 혹시 성도님들 가운데 위치적인 아쉬움을 가지고 계신 분들께는 이 부분을 잘 이해해 주셨으면 합니다. Few Gospel Mission members have shared their concerns with the fact that our future church location is too close to the current Bethany Church. Please know that our Gospel Mission leadership has prayerfully considered your concerns. We continue to pray for God’s healing and restoration between two churches. Couple of important aspects our leadership considered as we made this decision: (1) the central location of Fairfield for our commuting members - currently we have members who are commuting from all different directions, and more than Paramus, Fairfield is centrally situated, and (2) a safer location for our children and youth - because there are less traffic flow and a park that is located nearby, we felt this would be a great space for our children, youth and their families. Once again, we sincerely pray and hope that if there are any discomforts, God would bring a sense of peace in our hearts.

현재 교회 재정은 건강하게 유지되고 있습니다. 지난 2년간 성도님들의 헌신으로 건물 구입을 위한 Down payment 는 준비되었으나, 좀 더 안정적으로 융자를 받기 위해 준비하고 있습니다. Thankfully, our financial status is stable as our Gospel Mission members have so faithfully given offerings last two years. As we are considering for the down-payment, we want to be better prepared in applying for the loan.

성전 건물 구입을 위한 지정헌금은 성도님들께서 주일 헌금 드리는 동일한 방법으로 보내주시면 됩니다. 현재 현장에서 헌금함에 넣어 주시는 것과 온라인 벤모로 보내 주시는 방법이 있습니다. 온라인 벤모를 통해 드려지는 헌금은 주중 어느 때도 가능합니다. 헌금시 “성전구입 지정헌금“이란 내용을 표기해 주시면 됩니다.
You may prepare a designated offering for the church building project in the same way you give Sunday offerings (there are current two different ways - placing an offering envelope in the offering box, or send via Venmo account). Through online Venmo, the designated offering can be given at anytime during the week. Please make sure to label your offering - “Church Building Project”.

성전 구입 준비를 위해 이미 많은 성도님들이 금식기도 체인에 동참하고 있습니다. 계속해서 기도가 절실히 필요할 때 입니다. 앞으로 합법적인 절차를 위해, (1) 부동산 변호사가 선임되어서 purchase contract이 작성되고, (2) Township of Fairfield 건물 사용용도 변경을 위한 서류를 제출하여 승인을 받고, (3) 은행을 통해 필요한 융자 금액이 승인되어야 합니다. 앞으로 가야할 길은 멀지만, 주님께서 반드시 그 길을 인도해 주실 것을 믿습니다. 이를 위해 많은 분들이 재능기부를 하고 계신데, 함께 수고하시는 분들 위해 기도 부탁 드립니다. 특별히 모든 GMC 성도님들이 한마음, 한 뜻으로, 한 성령안에서 하나됨을 위해 모든 분들의 중보기도 부탁 드립니다. 함께 기도하기 원하시는 분들은 중보기도팀에 연락 주시면 고맙겠습니다 (팀장: 전경란 권사 201-456-8848)

Many members of our congregation have already committed themselves for a chain prayer-fasting for this project. It is at this time we sincerely need your prayer. We are planning (1) to hire a real estate attorney who will help us preparing all the necessary legal documents. (2) We will submit application to the Township of Fairfield in order to request an approval for the use change (from office to worship space), and (3) also, we are waiting for the loan approval by the bank. Even though we still have a long way to go, we entrust that our God will faithfully guide our steps and our ways. We are truly thankful for so many of our members who have given their gifts and talents for this project. Please continue to pray that as Gospel Mission journey through this path, God would unite us in one mind, one desire, and in one Spirit.
